Life and Lessons from Hart Roots Homestead

Over the top on the idea that we can get SO MUCH DONE. We are raising 5 young children and we always think we can get more done in one day than we actually can. So a huge learned lesson for me is when my husband says, "it'll only take like 1 hour," I know now to expect it to take at least 3 hours.

While that seems like a disaster, it really just adjusts expectations of how the day will go. It is important for us to be able to plan our day according to the time we have and the time a task actually takes.
